"I have my mama to thank for my 'hosting etiquette'. While growing up, whenever we had people to stay, fresh linen, rolled towels and fresh garden flowers made their way into the guest room.

Sometimes my mom would even put a chocolate on the pillow to make our visitor(s) feel special. Now that I have my own guests to accommodate, I try to emulate the welcome my mom has always created when we stay with her.
