We just spent the morning on the beach and have arrived home to no water! Positives are that Madi is fast asleep in her cot and I get to jump on here to share some local beauties with you.
I am still partly covered in sand and I can feel the remnants of the salt water and sunscreen on my skin.
LITERALLY nothing better in the world to me.
I have always reveled in the tan lines, sticky skin and simple joy that comes with a beach or pool day. When I have the time to get in my cozzie and enjoy the sunshine it ignites a little sparkle in my eye like nothing else.
So sitting here minus the bikini, but still covered in sand and SPF, inspired me to share some of my beach, pool and summer vacation directory finds that I either covert or already have in my beach bag.
SOMETHING LIGHT AND BREEZY
A dress or an easy breezy romper are the ideal garments to throw on after a day in the sun. Often sunshine and sand is followed up with a lazy lunch, or better yet a sundowner! Light and lovely are the ideal characteristics for your post beach wear. After a day on the sand I love to throw on something in linen or cotton that gives off those chic, beachy vibes. SPF PROTECTION
Probably the most important part of any beach visit is SPF! But you know that ;)
The Heliocare Gelcream is my everyday essential, and for days in the sunshine it is the perfect combination of SPF50 and a smoothed complexion. Followed up by a Lumi Glo face mask the minute you get home to moisturise salty skin and keep your skin soft and supple.
As for the babes, SPF50, UV protection coverage and UV sunnies are a MUST.
P.S. The CF Suncare is one of my personal favourites. Protects Modi's skin and doesn't stain all her swimwear with that suncream yellow!
