Jimnōjean is a beautiful online store with boutique like pieces selected by the gorgeous Keagan Kingsley. Impeccable taste, limited quantities and a selection of pretty life things that are updated and added to constantly makes this store a rare find.
You will discover some of your favourite local brands here along with names that you may not be familiar with (which is always a treat). Pure luxury at its best.
WHY WE LOVE THEM
I have loved this online store since day one and have watched it grow and develop as time has passed. With a beautiful array of products from luxury to home to apparel, Keagan is ticking all the boxes in terms of aesthetic and selection. If I could buy the entire store for myself and my gift draw it wouldn't be an impossibility. Unique and beautiful are the adjectives that come to mind when I visit this boutique and with new collections dropping frequently it makes it all that more enticing.
P.S. You can create a wish list on their store and send it to your loved ones! Genius.
THIS MONTHS CURATIONS
KESHI DROP EARRINGS
Inspired by the Seven Seas, these gorgeous earrings are created with real baroque freshwater pearls. They are the perfect earring to dress up or down but would be especially exquisite for a bridal outfit or more formal event.
I haven’t worn my Keshi Drops nearly as much as I should have but this is due to the fact that they have been hidden in my drawer amongst some other treasures. Out of sight out of mind!
During this month's curations, I spotted my beloved drops and simply had to write about them, as well as pull them out of hiding. I plan on wearing them soon!
I have a wedding to attend, a Pop-Up launch and a date night on the agenda for the next two weeks…so I have plenty of opportunities to take these honeys out for a much-deserved whirl.
Created in-house at Jimnojean, these earrings are made from sterling silver and then plated in 18kt gold (it is quite a bold gold) and features a freshwater baroque pearl. The earring is ±6cm in length including the pearl.
THE NIKITA EARRINGS
BY JEANNE & CO
ON MY WISHLIST
These raffia earrings finished with frosted gems, hand-beaded to perfection are 8cm by 5cm with a sterling silver base.
This is not really the type of jewel I would typically wear, to be honest, but I have been admiring them from afar for a while now.
Since turning 32 I have decided that life is too short NOT to be extra, and so why not wear the most gorgeous hand-beaded earrings in existence, just because you can?
Whether you are a bride or a baby mama, I say embrace your fabulosity and adorn the gems.
THE SMOKEY QUARTZ TEARDROP PENDANT
ON MY WISHLIST
Created lovingly for Jimnojean by Asandé, (You can find them on our Local List) this semi-precious gem pendant is a stunning keepsake. The chain is 45cm in length and the charm is 1cm in length. It is made from sterling silver and plated with 18k gold.
It's no secret that I love a pretty pendant. This one, with a 45cm chain, is an ideal length to layer with a shorter 40cm choker or a longer 50cm pendant. The smokey quartz is an unusual stone that contrasts beautifully against any skin tone and works harmoniously when paired with gold.
Asandé hopes to restore and rebuild the lives of those tormented by the war in the DRC. As a social business, they seek to provide holistic care for victims of sexual violence, the main weapon of their civil war.
Asandé is derived from the word ‘Azande’ which has the Zulu meaning; ‘abundance’ and the Congolese meaning; ‘a people who possess much land’. Both meanings are about providing more for the people of the DRC and enlarging the lives of its people, which is exactly what they want to do!
